A RISE IN TRIBE OF INDIE ARTISTS!

India has always embraced the evolving music landscape globally when it comes to music. Through its experimentation, it has embraced it with an open heart.

This has pushed indie scene forward in turn. A string of homegrown, underrated artists is slowly getting their fair share of recognition. There’s always an indie song to make your day more eventful, an intense day out in the gym or a mellow Sunday evening, no matter what the mood is.

The horizon of non-Bollywood music culture has begun to be explored by Indian movie lovers in recent years. However, with 2020 being a year of isolation, we explored and listened to different and talented artists from all over the world at the comfort of our homes.

All right, in all honesty! Who has not hummed to the music of this star-artist? Prateek’s soulful tunes have wooed the hearts of millions, from casual settings to a happy go-lucky mood. His tunes have bewildered us all, from the girl next door to Barrack Obama.

2. Ritviz

With his funky electronic dance music (EDM) tracks, this artist has been the sensation all over the internet. From his “Udd Gaye” to “Sage”, he has made everyone tap on his beats. The party freaks in the house if you are in search of the new party anthems, here’s your pick.

3. Raghav Meattle

Known for his soulful voice that will tug at your heartstrings and memorable lyrics that you are bound to remember. The art of songs which keep you hooked and humming can be seen in his tunes, oh! we mean “heard”. So what are you waiting for? Type his name on your spotify and get hooked.

Well, we do have missed theatres, big rock n roll events and concerts, but the absence of this gave a chance to country’s independent musicians a chance to showcase and experiment and absolutely provided the audience to listen.
