90s Bollywood songs were a vision in themselves. The songs were unmatchable and omnipresent, filled with colors, the latka jhatkas, and outstanding and incomparable music.

Do you remember the evergreen Madhuri Dixit in her tangerine outfit, stroking her hair and making us gulp on cue as she “Dhak Dhak’ed” her way to Anil Kapoor in the movie Beta? That decade held different nectar to music and homed tunes, forcing us to leave the lazy chair behind and tap our feet in sync with scintillating music. From “Chaiya Chaiya,” “Tip Tip Barsa Paani,” “Chura Ke Dil Mera”, to the everlasting love ballads, “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam,” “Yeh Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hai,” and “Phela Nasha,” the list is never-ending.

It is also seen that many songs from the 90s are taking shape into peppy remixes. We aren’t surprised! Who wouldn’t want to add a bit of pep to “Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast” or “Ruk Ja O Dil Deewane” from DDLJ? The particular song forced us to watch the movie… 100 times…if we aren’t mistaken.

The songs of the 90s and their epic stars reside in our hearts and force us to do the “hook step” without fail. Whether you want to lip-sync or not, don’t hold back and sing out loud Dil Se Re with the maestro A.R.Rahman and feel proud to be a millennial.
